Svaya Robotics seeks a technically oriented candidate with excellent experience in wire harness design and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of the harness for Robot Controller Box and space constrained Robotic Arm including 3D modelling using tools like CREO.
- Lead harness integration activities from concept to production.
- Develop and review wiring diagrams and electrical drawings and harness layouts.
- Perform connector selection and wiring selection, terminal sizing, and component specification based on application requirements and engineering calculations.
- Have a good understanding of EMI/EMC risks and technical acumen to resolve these issues from harness point of view.
- Ensure reliability, durability, and safety of harness systems through design validation and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and production launches.
- Troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective actions.
- Establish cable assembly procedure and to carry out the cable crimping using crimping tools.
- Actively participate in discussion with cross-functional team members to execute the assigned task within the time limitations.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in wiring harness design and integration.
- Strong expertise in electrical schematic design tools (e.g., CATIA Electrical, Capital, E3. series, or similar).
- Solid experience in connector selection and harness components.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, validation, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R, and changing management processes.
- Understanding relevant standards (IPC, ISO, automotive, MIL standards).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Automotive Engineering or related field.
