Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Turn-Mill/Turning Operator with 2–6 years of experience in operating and setting up CNC Turning or Turn-Mill machines for precision component manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in machine setup, interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining micron-level tolerances, and have proven experience in high-precision job production environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Turning or Turn-mill machines for the production of precision components.
• Perform machine setup, tool offset adjustments, and first-piece approvals to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and process sheets.
• Manufacture parts to  ±0.002 mm (2 microns) tolerances and maintain consistent dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and vernier calipers.
• Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and preventive maintenance procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in high-precision machining and job production.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, work-holding methods, and CNC turning/turn-mill operations.
• Excellent drawing-reading and inspection skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and consistently deliver defect-free components.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience

2 to 6 years of working experience in CNC Turning/Turn-Mill
